When we went to visit Swarthmore, my father asked the student leading the tour, "What do you do for fun?" and she asked him, "What do you mean?"

This may have been atypical, but certainly put me off!

I liked Colleges That Change Lives, by Loren Pope, but it's very much geared towards the small liberal arts school set.
