One more reason I will never be a Republican, although I try my best to respect them (one good friend was an ardent supporter of Mike Huckabee... *headdesk*). But I would be very surprised to find someone who identified with the Republican party and also considered him/herself atheist (agnostic would be stretching it, maybe apathetic-agnostic).
