Hot Asian actors are hot.

I think they're missing a great deal of range, though. Everybody they showed was...very cheekbone-y. There are bunches and scads of hot Asian men who are not cheekbone-y. I'll bet some of them act. I may be way off on this--and welcome hearing it if I am--but to me this feels like talking about hot African-American actresses and other actresses of African descent, and then only showing the ones with very narrow noses. Sure, it's part of the great diversity of beauty we can see in women of African descent, but only part.

I guess ideally it would get people to get out of a mindset where "Asian guy" and "not hot" were near-synonyms, but since I think that Grant Imahara is tied for sexiest man on TV, it is not a problem I am having much of myself.

I would add a disclaimer about not objectifying people, except that I am totally objectifying people here. I do not want a close personal relationship with Grant Imahara. I want to watch him blow things up while wearing those little rectangular glasses.
