How much do you read a year?

Inspired by [profile] tammy212's boggling post on Americans and books:

One in four Americans didn't read a single book last year. How many have you read?

I'm up to 44 since May 9th of this year, and I know my f-list is going to have crazy numbers because I added most of you for a common love of books. :D Still curious!

I'm up to 111 books this year, and I got over my Dun Wanna Read tantrum and started 112 last night. I can't remember how much I read last year. Over 100 totall, I think.

I definitely haven't read over 100, or even over 44, mainly because of school. I haven't actually been counting... throw manga into the mix and there's no telling.

So, there's not really much point to this comment, except to say that I still love books even if I haven't read scads of them recently. ^_^;;

I've lost track of my actual book count, but I do know I've slowed down from previous years. Haven't had much chance to read novels, and reading raw manga is very slow going.

I'm pretty sure I'm over 50 by now, but that's pretty low *g*
