Gmail lets me compose and submit LJ comment replies directly in the pane! Exciting. I'm starting to be glad I finally decided to switch over from aggravating (and attaching-ads-to-emails) Hotmail.

Also, just got A Brother's Price by Wen Spencer (Alpha guest author) from the library and it's amazing. I didn't believe the promotional cover blurb (by Catherine Asaro, another Alpha author) until I started reading. It's fantasy, too! And plays with the idea of a matriarchy!

Oooo! I keep meaning to get my hands on the Spencer. I vaguely remember it being on the short list for a Tiptree last year...

It is very, very good. I've written up a gushy review, which will be posted in a little bit once I get around to typing it.
