Eschewed Obfuscation

Don't feel like digging it out of my library bag in my room, so I'm not bothering with number of pages. Just know that, um, it's really short. Like, 1-inch thick short, and pretty small lxw wise, with large typesetting too. It's read-in-two-hours-off-and-on short. I really don't know why I bother keeping up with the Clique series, as it's not my type. Maybe because it's short? I also don't know why I bother setting up a graduated to-read list of library books when I just end up with boring/childish choices half the time anyway. Huh.

Anyway, It's Not Easy To Be Mean is basically on par with all of Lisi Harrison's other books: great for 7th graders, not so much for the rest of us, and definitely undeserving of bestseller status. I <3 the fashion details, though. (Don't ask, it's a personal semi-obsession.) I can't discuss this particular volume without spoiling the previous books, and I'm too lazy anyway, so I won't even try.
